This epistemological problem may prove to be the ultimate challenge to a purely scientific understanding of religion. How do we know whether anything we perceive is real or not? Put another way, how do we know if the reality of the external world corresponds, at least partially, to our mental representation of it? Humans have posed the question of realness since the dawn of philosophy, science and religion, and the question has generated various answers.

This reality question lies at the very heart of neuroscience. If our understanding of the world comes from the brain, it is subject to a variety of misinterpretations, misperceptions and misunderstandings. How, then, are we to know whether the reality we perceive—scientific, religious or otherwise—is the true representation of the world? Ultimately, after much philosophical, theological and scientific exploration, we may be forced to arrive at the rather uncomfortable circular statement that what we take to be real is dependent only on how real it feels to us. From the neuroscientific perspective, this is consistent with a wide array of research showing how our brains construct our senses of reality.

We return at last to neurotheology as an approach to understanding the nature of all types of experiences of reality. Both science and religion provide potentially important information about the world that our brains perceive. We may ultimately find that religion is nothing more than a manifestation of the brain’s function set in place by millions of years of evolution. We might find that perceived spiritual dimensions help us to get in touch with the more fundamental nature of reality. Either way, we should tread carefully and strive to understand reality—on all levels.

In the opinions of most people these days god is almost certainly an invention of the human mind rather then a true being in any traditional sense. Over the course of human history there have been thousands of different religions and different figures worshiped as gods. Since then a lot of these have fallen into abandonment in terms of being worshiped and people considering them to be the truth. With the world now consisting of only a few of the many religions that there once was it seems likely that this pattern will eventually come around again and that all religions will eventually falter and fade away.

Belief in God has long been held to be a superstition by the scientific community as the existence of such a higher power cannot be demonstrated through objective observation. While science is unable to prove whether or not God is real, the field of neurotheology has instead posed a new question that we can find answers to: is there activity in the brain specific to religious experience? Can science in fact shed light on Thoreau's question?

Rather, religion makes use of existing brain structures and their functions, and it appears that religious beliefs match up exceedingly well with those functions.

However, it is difficult to determine which of the functions related to religion ultimately provided the adaptive advantage that led religion to thrive throughout human history. Simply finding a relationship does not necessarily imply causality, and whether these findings ultimately imply that religion is nothing more than a brain-based phenomenon is another matter. The findings we are discussing link religion and the brain, but the brain may be receptive to religious experiences rather than creating them. Whether the brain generates religious belief or serves as a conduit for it remains a complicated question.

Ideas of spirituality were generated prior to neurobiology and gained immediate legitimacy as there was no knowledge of brains or the necessity of a brain to generate purposeful behavior. The current debate suffers from defining religion in terms of what western culture sees as a religious experience, or religious belief. The anthropology of religion needs to be recognized in order to separate magic, speculative explanations, and social meaning before deciding what neurological basis is active. At a time when religious beliefs stimulate some to blow themselves up, it is difficult to accept that religious beliefs are by nature adaptive.

It is also reasonable to speculate that, in an evolutionary time scale, gradual evolution of a range of brain functions enabled the emergence and adoption of myriad religious beliefs. Even modern biblical scholars and many religious practitioners would admit that there is little objective evidence that God has completely scripted the requirements of religious belief. The hypothesis to challenge here should be that religious belief emerged out of the cognitive and social capabilities of humans and that those abilities depended upon the structure and function of the human brain.

Counterfeit States of "Religious Consciousness"

There have always been persons who pretended to be participants in the mystic tradition who were decidedly not. The same is true in regard to Higher States of consciousness: there are people who experience counterfeit states and try to fool themselves and others that these are genuine.

Occurring within all religions, the phenomenon called "conversion" is actually nothing more than mind-control, programming, or brainwashing-- frightening a repentant, submissive person or group into a state of terror and subsequent release. Counterfeit "conversion" experiences were, for example, widely experienced in nineteenth century America, especially in what were called "revivals." Even today, "revivals" of one form or another are used by all so-called Christian faiths in manipulating obedient followers.

"Conversion" is an artificial, deleterious state induced in a submissive person by a self-serving religious leader. As the basis of his 1914 book entitled The Psychology of Religion, Dr. Edwin D. Starbuck examined a significant number of persons who had undergone the "conversion" experience.

He found that "conversion does not occur with the same frequency at all periods in life. It belongs almost exclusively to the years between 10 and 25. The number of instances outside that range appear few and scattered. That is, conversion is a distinctively adolescent phenomenon."

Starbuck also discovered that imagination and social pressure were the two dominant factors in "conversion," and he was able to determine what "a small part rational considerations play in conversion as compared with instinctive." Surrender to the religious authority figure (minister or priest) is necessary for "conversion" to occur and results in the subject's ego being "lifted up into new significance."

The essence of "conversion" is the induction of a state of mere feeling which, when it has passed, leaves no spiritual improvement and often results in the subject feeling like a victim. Frequently the experience is so humiliating after the fact that the subject rejects not only the "conversion," but anything having to do with religion.

Starbuck discovered that the forces working in revivals are identical to suggestion and hypnosis--what we today would call brainwashing. The negative aspects of "conversion" are primarily caused by the self-serving religious leaders.

"An unwise and unfortunate use of revivals is that they take certain social standards and attempt to force them indiscriminately on all persons alike. The notion is formed, and, doubtless, rightly, that the only means of escape for one whose evil habits are deeply ingrained is through repentance, a definite regeneration and conversion. There seems to be practical ignorance of the other type of conversion, i.e., sudden awakening following the sense of imperfection, and still greater disregard of the fact that it is not natural for certain temperaments to develop spasmodically, or even to exhibit marked stadia in their growth. Consequently, the normal means of regeneration for the wayward and for hardened sinners becomes a dogma, and is held up as the only means of escape for children, for natures spiritually immature, for the virtuous, and for those temperamentally unfit. A certain competition for supremacy among churches, and for success among individual workers, exaggerates the evil. Each new convert is sometimes vulgarly called by revivalists another star in the crowns which they will wear in the future life. If there were only power of discrimination, they would see that their success in dragging many so-called converts into the whirl of excitement, hypnotising them, and leaving them empty afterward, is more fitly likened to the triumph of a man of prowess who wears scalps of victims as trophies."

The psychological manipulation of Christian believers has a long history. Leaving aside the peculiar mind manipulation practiced by Roman Catholicism, we can see that the basic tenets of Protestantism, from the time of Luther, were particularly well-suited to inducing terror in a submissive penitent.

"God," says Luther "is the God of the humble, the miserable, the oppressed, and the desperate, and of those that are brought even to nothing; and his nature is to give sight to the blind, to comfort the broken-hearted, to justify sinners, to save the very desperate and damned. Now that pernicious and pestilent opinion of man's own righteousness, which will not be a sinner, unclean, miserable, and damnable, but righteous and holy, suffereth not God to come to his own natural and proper work. Therefore God must take this maul to hand (the law, I mean) to beat in pieces and bring to nothing this beast with her vain confidence, that she may so learn at length by her own misery that she is utterly forlorn and damned. But here lieth the difficulty, that when a man is terrified and cast down, he is so little able to raise himself up again and say, 'Now I am bruised and afflicted enough; now is the time of grace; now is the time to hear Christ.' The foolishness of man's heart is so great that then he rather seeketh to himself more laws to justify his conscience. 'If I live,' saith he, 'I will amend my life: I will do this, I will do that.' But here, except thou do the quite contrary, except thou send Moses away with his law, and in these terrors and this anguish lay hold upon Christ who died for thy sins, look for no salvation. Thy cowl, thy shaven crown, thy chastity, thy obedience, thy poverty, thy works, thy merits? what shall all these do? what shall the law of Moses avail? If I, wretched and damnable sinner, through works of merits could have loved the Son of God, and so come to him, what needed he to deliver himself for me? If I, being a wretch and damned sinner, could be redeemed by any other price, what needed the Son of God to be given? But because there was no other price, therefore he delivered neither sheep, ox, gold, nor silver, but even God himself, entirely and wholly 'for me,' even 'for me,' I say a miserable, wretched sinner. Now therefore, I take comfort and apply this to myself. And this manner of applying is the very true force and power of faith. For he died not to justify the righteous, but the un-righteous, and to make them the children of God.'"

In the nineteenth century this Protestant dogma so suitable to psychological manipulation was refashioned by revivalists such as Jonathan Edwards. His tormented parishioners left their nail marks as they gripped the church pews in paroxysms of terror while listing to Edwards rail about "Sinners In the Hands of an Angry God."

In the genuine mystical tradition, regeneration is the genuine state of higher consciousness achieved by the sincere seeker, of which "conversion" is the counterfeit.

"Hermetism. . . was in its primary intention and office the philosophic and exact science of the regeneration of the human soul from its present sense-immersed state into the perfection and nobility of that divine condition in which it was originally created."

Starbuck, Coe, and other researchers into the phenomenon of "conversion" discovered that it was essentially an experience of compliant adolescents, men and women who had not yet developed the ability to think and act for themselves. In the mystical tradition, candidates for "regeneration" must be mature philosophers--lovers of wisdom--in the sense that Pythagoras and Plato would have understood the term.

"Candidates for the regenerate life, moreover, were such as were prepared, as how few of to-day are?, to renounce and transvalue all the world's values, to step entirely out of the world-stream by the current of which the majority are content to be borne along, to negate the affirmations of the senses and natural reason which for the multitude provide the criterion of the desirable and the true, and generally to adopt towards phenomenal existence an attitude incomprehensible to the average man to whom that existence is of paramount moment. They were animated by no motives of merely personal salvation or of spiritual superiority over their fellows; on the contrary they will be found to have been the humblest, as they were the wisest, of men. They had advanced far beyond that complacent stage where religion consists in fidelity to certain credal propositions and in 'being good' or as good as one can, and where sufficiency and robustness of faith are represented by the facile optimism of 'God's in His heaven; all's right with the world.' Their philosophic basis was rather that 'the world is out of joint' and all men with it, and in a condition sorely needing saviours and co-operators with God to reduce and adjust the dislocation."

We must understand that "regeneration" is an actual fact within the mystical tradition, no mere allegory or metaphor. As we have been "generated" in the physical world, so we can--through the proper preparation and knowledge--experience "regeneration" into a Higher Consciousness.

Even though we have become entranced by the physical world, there still abides in us, though in a state of atrophy, a residual germ of the divine principle which can be stimulated into activity to raise the personal consciousness to the point of unity and identity with the Universal Mind.

Michael Persinger thus argues that religious experience and belief in God are merely the results of electrical anomalies in the human brain.

Michael A. Persinger (born June 26, 1945) is a cognitive neuroscience researcher and university professor with over 200 peer-reviewed publications. He has worked at Laurentian University, located in Sudbury, Ontario, since 1971. In detail, Michael A. Persinger was born in Jacksonville, Florida and grew up primarily in Virginia, Maryland and Wisconsin. He attended Carroll College from 1963 to 1964, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1967. He then obtained an M.A. in physiological psychology from the University of Tennessee and a Ph.D. from the University of Manitoba in 1971.

Persinger opines that the religious bents of even the most exalted figures—for instance, Saint Paul, Moses, Muhammad and Buddha—stem from such neural quirks. The popular notion that such experiences are good, argues Persinger in his book Neuropsychological Bases of God Beliefs (Praeger Publishers, 1987), is an outgrowth of psychological conditioning in which religious rituals are paired with enjoyable experiences. Praying before a meal, for example, links prayer with the pleasures of eating. God, he claims, is nothing more mystical than that.

This is another study on personal psychic vampirism as a way of life understood along modern psychology and occultism as to the astral plane. Failing to find good literature on Vampirism in the Dutch language, to give the Psychic Vampires their due right, I decided to write this book on Psychic Vampirism, the way I see, believe and live it. This is my first written work in the Dutch language. The book is written the way I practice Psychic Vampirism, based on my occult past, and what Psychic or Energetical Vampirism has now brought to me. There is a Dayside and a Nightside of my Vampiric life. The Dayside, my normal life among the humans, and the Nightside entirely metaphysical, occultism in practice. I start the night making time for meditation, invoking the Undead Gods - Those Who Have Risen - first, realizing their presence, offering my Lifeforce gathered during day-time among the humans. This is also a time I am working at my own Vampiric transformation with the sure help and protection of the Undead Gods, - Those Who Have Risen -. After I pursue with some other Vampiric occult work, as even being in bed and during sleep, the work continues. In the morning, I try to remember, making notes of it in a book, my own “Shadow Book” (called Grimoire), what had happened during the dreaming stages, my out of body experience, apparitions, etc. The life of the Vampire is an unfinished task; it takes 24 hours a day. I intend to write a second book in Dutch, before I continue in the English language as already published on Internet. I am a Vampire since October/November 2010, and ever since the books of Michelle Belanger were a great and sure help to me, based on Ancient Egypt Magic Tradition: The Psychic Vampire Codex and Psychic Energy Codex. And, I must say the best and most sincere on the subject, really books to be trusted.

Wat is een Vampier

Een Psychische of Energetische Vampier is een energiezuiger, maar zeker niet zoals bijna altijd verhaald in legenden, mythen, romans, en films, een bloedzuiger. Een Vampier als bloedzuiger is een mythisch wezen waarvan meestal verteld wordt dat het een rusteloze ziel van een ketter is die 's nachts zijn graf verlaat om zich (soms als dier) te gaan voeden met het bloed van mensen. Over deze oorspronkelijk Slavische (en Hongaarse) legende werd al in de periode 1730 tot 1735 verhaald. Het geeft een totale verkeerd beeld van het echte Vampirisme.

Vanaf de 19e eeuw raakte de hele westerse wereld dankzij romantische, waanzinnige spookverhalen en Gotische verhalen vertrouwt met de nieuwe stereotype van de elite of aristocratische vampier, geïntroduceerd en geïnspireerd door schrijvers.

Het woord “Vampier” gaat terug op het Servisch voor een “vleermuis” en is verwant aan het Oud-Slavische werkwoord voor "vliegen". De eigenschappen van een Vampier zijn zeer verschillend, daar geweldig veel schrijvers en filmmakers er hun eigen draai aan geven. Onderstaande omschrijving geeft het meest bekende beeld dat het hedendaagse publiek van vampieren verkeerd weet.

Weliswaar zullen we verder zien, dat de Vampier noch een mens is, noch echt dood. Zijn toestand wordt vaak als “ondood” omschreven. Enkel volgens legenden en mythen overgebracht in romans en cinema, de vampier slaapt overdag in een doodskist, meestal de doodskist waarin hij na zijn dood begraven wordt, waarbij de vampieren fysisch niet verouderen. Ze blijven lichamelijk altijd op de leeftijd die ze hadden toen ze vampier werden. In sommige verhalen kan een vampier zelfs tijdelijk jonger worden als hij veel bloed drinkt. Het zijn allemaal verzinselen, weliswaar dat de Vampier overdag en s’nachts in zijn slaap actief is.

Er bestaan verschillende manieren waarop iemand een vampier kan worden. In oude verhalen werd beweerd dat mensen die zijn gestorven aan de gevolgen van een vampierbeet na hun dood ook een vampier werden. Dit zou betekenen dat de wereld inmiddels overspoeld zou zijn met vampieren, omdat elke gebetene een nieuwe vampier zou worden. In (veel van) de huidige vampierverhalen wordt hier daarom op gevarieerd dat een vampier alleen kan ontstaan als een gebetene nog iets anders doet, zoals zelf bloed drinken van de vampier die hem gebeten heeft.

De werkelijkheid is veelal anders. Vampier worden is een keuze die jezelf maakt, of je wordt ertoe gedreven. De schrijver van dit manuscript kreeg in augustus 2010 drie baxters bloed toegediend na een ernstige en bijna fatale maagbloeding. In onwetendheid had hij de gevolgen van de maagbloeding ver onderschat gelaten, totdat hij niet meer verder kon en zware ademhalingsmoeilijkheden had. Dus, bloed van anderen, onbekende mensen heeft hem het leven gered. In oktober, moest hij onder het mes voor een open hart ingreep. Tijdens zijn revalidatie begon hij gewoon over het vampirisme te schrijven, en zo maar verder. Hij is een Vampier, en staat nu nog altijd in zijn transformatie periode, en dat is dag en nacht oefenen.

Het uiterlijk van een vampier verschilt sterk per verhaal. In Oud-Europese verhalen waren Vampieren vaak monsterlijke humanoïde wezens. De vampier zoals men die vandaag de dag veel ziet is gemodelleerd naar onder andere “Graaf Dracula” en andere aristocratische vampieren in talloze boeken en films. Op deze verhalen mag de lezer zeker niet op ingaan.

De Vampier zoals die in vele Europese legendarische en mythische verhalen voorkomt, stamt vaak uit een adellijk, Oost-Europees geslacht. Hij of zij is seksueel verleidelijk, gaat in het zwart gekleed en heeft een bleke tint. Vampieren hebben extra lange hoektanden, die ze gebruiken om hun slachtoffers in de hals te bijten en zo hun bloed te drinken. Een vampier heeft mensen- of dierenbloed nodig om vitaal te blijven. Mensenbloed heeft de voorkeur. De vampier heeft altijd trek, maar kan desnoods lange tijd vasten. Voor ons is een Vampier geen bloeddrinker, en is enkel psychisch ingesteld iemand. Hij of zij is alvast een praktische occultist.

Nog zo iets, een vampier zou geen spiegelbeeld hebben en kan niet gefotografeerd of gefilmd worden. De Vampieren uit Twilight Saga (nu drie delen in omloop, in afwachting van twee andere laatste delen) hebben wel een spiegelbeeld, zien eruit als gewone mensen, zijn veel aantrekkelijker, hebben een bleke huid (die glinstert in de zon, waardoor ze niet in de zon kunnen verschijnen) en rode, zwarte of gouden ogen. In Twilight beschikken een aantal vampieren over speciale krachten. Zoals de gave om gedachten te kunnen lezen of de toekomst voorspellen. De Twilight Saga verhalen staan dichter bij de werkelijkheid, en is een aanrader te bezitten, tevens de TV reeks, “The Vampire Diaries”.

Traditiegetrouw en veelal echt, beschikt de Vampieren over enkele paranormale krachten zoals uitzonderlijke spierkracht (vooral als hij pas energetisch of psychisch gedreind heeft), enorm snelle reflexen (ze kunnen bijvoorbeeld bovenmenselijk snel een object ontwijken), de mogelijkheid iemand te hypnotiseren of eventueel te laten denken wat de vampier wil, gedaanteverandering s’nachts tijdens de slaap bij astrale uittredingen (bij voorkeur in een vleermuis, maar ook bijvoorbeeld in een wolf of mist) en soms hebben ze de macht om het weer te manipuleren. Verder bezit een vampier uitzonderlijke manipulatieve gaven en tevens grote schoonheid. Verder hebben ze de kracht om nachtdieren te commanderen. Deze krachten zijn er met de bedoeling om zijn prooi te verleiden en overmeesteren om zich energetisch te voeden.

Hier volgt pure onzin door legenden en mythen gecreëerd, en nadien in boeken en cinema verhaald. De vampieren hebben een weerzin tegen knoflook. Ze zijn doorgaans bang voor religieuze symbolen zoals het kruis of wijwater en andere heilige ongelooflijke symbolen.

Een vampier kan een huis enkel betreden als een van de bewoners hem daartoe uitnodigt. Eenmaal uitgenodigd kan hij een huis betreden wanneer hij dat wil en houdt vrijwel niets hem nog tegen. De waarheid is dat astraal de Vampier altijd een huis kan betreden.

Enkel volgens legenden en mythen, romans en cinema, slapen de Vampieren overdag, omdat ze een afkeer hebben van daglicht. Blootstelling aan daglicht verzwakt hen en langdurig kan dit zelfs fataal zijn. Dat het hen ook kan doden is bedacht door de filmindustrie, en inmiddels een algemeen geaccepteerd kenmerk van vampieren. Dat is louter onzin. Al sinds de Egyptische oudheden bij name de Asetianen van de Kemetische Orde van Aset Ka, de Vampieren vonden de zon nodig, zowel als de maanstonden s’nachts.

Vampieren kunnen volgens de volksverhalen het niet laten om alles op hun pad te tellen, en kunnen dus worden afgeleid door iets op hun pad te strooien. Tevens hebben ze moeite met het oversteken van stromend water; hier hebben ze de hulp van anderen erbij nodig. Dat is ook totale onzin.

Om een vampier te doden zijn vaak drastische maatregelen nodig. De bekendste methode is een houten staak door zijn hart te slaan. In volksverhalen moet een vampier zo aan de grond genageld worden, maar in films is doorboren met de staak vaak al voldoende. Andere manieren zijn onthoofding, al dan niet nadat zijn mond is volgestopt met knoflook, en het verbranden van de vampier of de resten van het lichaam. Menigeen belandde mensen verdacht van vampirisme op de brandstapel, beschuldigd van het opzettelijk veroorzaken van Kwaad, grotendeels door de invloed van de Rooms Katholieke Kerk en Protestanten in werking gebracht. In wezen waren de gewone mensen bang voor de kunde van de vampieren zowel als van de heksen.

Toen de kerken een hetze ontketende tegen alle mannen en vrouwen, en zelfs kinderen, die anders waren, ontaarde dit in een drie eeuwen gedurende vervolging, die ook ketters, joden en andersdenkenden betrof. Ze werden gevangen genomen en op de ergste manieren gemarteld. Zo werden hen bekentenissen afgedwongen, die waren ingegeven door de seksueel gefrustreerde geestelijken, en die zijn er nog in onze dagen zoals de religieuze pedofielen onder priesters, bisschoppen en kloosterlingen, vooral in de Rooms Katholieke Kerk. Zij werden op een vreselijke manier ter dood gebracht. Hun eigendommen werden door de kerken in beslag genomen.

Er zijn meer dan negen miljoen mannen, vrouwen en kinderen aan deze vervolging ten offer gevallen, en voor wat! Vrouwen waren hierbij in de meerderheid Men verondersteld thans, dat de kerken in de naam van Jezus van Nazareth, de Christus genaamd alle mensen, waarvan bekend werd, dat zij bijzondere, paranormale gaven beschikten, in de kloosters als milde straf trachtten te krijgen, of gewoon vervolgde tot de dood toe.

In de jaren 1933-1945 van vorige eeuw hebben de Nazi’s in Duitsland en trouwens in geheel bezet Europa een waar schrikbewind ontketend. Hun filosofie berustte op gestolen kennis van Occulte Scholen. Hun rassentheorie ontleenden ze aan de theosofische literatuur, die ze in onjuiste manier interpreteerden. De zwartmagische praktijken van Himmler en consorten, die vooral betrekking hadden op Joden, homoseksuelen, zigeuners, mentale- en lichamelijke gehandicapten, zijn niet genoeg te veroordelen. Dit voorbeeld toont eigenlijk aan hoe gevaarlijk het is als de kennis van de wijzen in verkeerde handen komt.

In de Christelijke kerken heeft men een grote angst voor alles wat met het occulte te maken heeft, en vampirisme wordt daartoe gerekend. Dat is ongegrond. Het psychisch vampirisme distantieert zich namelijk duidelijk van elke theologie, die in wezen vaak anti-leven en anti-seks is. De leerstellingen en preken over hel en verdoemenis, eeuwig leven in de hemel, de duivel en demonen, hebben niets te maken met de werkelijkheid van hier en nu in deze wetenschappelijke tijd en grote vooruitgang. Er zijn, terecht, veel mensen die een afkeer hebben van de leerstukken van de Christelijke kerken op dit en alle gebied. Zij kunnen gewoon niet meer geloven in een hel, een hemel, het einde der tijden bij de wederkomst van Jezus van Nazareth. Hij was eigenlijk één van de meerdere filosofen of godsdienst leiders van zijn tijd. Alleen te danken aan de bekering van Keizer Constantijn in de derde eeuw, heeft het christendom toen bij name “Katholiek” geluk gehad, daar ze als vele anderen gewoon een sekte was. Twee andere sekten zijn aangehaald in het Nieuwe Testament, de ene in de Evangeliën en de andere in de Handelingen van de Apostelen. De dood van Jezus van Nazareth was enkel politiek, doordat hij de eretitel “Zoon van God” toegekend aan de Romeinse Keizer ondermeer gebruikte.

Naargelang je bewuster wordt van je occulte of paranormale vermogens, ga je ook in die richting efficiënter leven, en kies je voor het psychische vampirisme. Tijdens je lange transformatie periode, weet je al gauw, welke psychische vermogens je niet beheerst en ga je op zoek bijvoorbeeld op Internet naar vertrouwde mensen, die onvoorwaardelijk hulp kunnen bieden. Luiheid hoort niet bij de psychische ontwikkeling of bij het vampirisme.

History of the Temple

The history of the Vampire Temple of Atazoth is the result of the founder’s history as vampire. His own bridging from the human to the state of vampire took place in August 2010, when he was urgently taken to the hospital with breathing problems. The doctors soon discovered that he had a bleeding stomach, going on unnoticed for quite a time and meanwhile lost a tremendous lot of blood. So, they decided to give him a blood transfusion, but one bag was not enough and transfused three bags of blood during the course of three consecutive days. That was obvious blood of unknown but healthy humans he received in order to survive. About two months later, after a successful open heart operation, he started writing manuscripts on vampirism in the frame of the Sinister Pathway Triangle Order, today the Vampire Temple of Atazoth. Atazoth is a mythical Dark Albion God from the Tree of Wyrd (Nine Angles Order).

Atazoth is the most powerful of the mythical Dark Albion Gods. The name itself (which correctly describes the entity only when chanted properly) signifies in one sense the purpose of the cosmic cycles and the opening of the gates since “Atazoth” as a word means ‘an increasing of azoth.’ Ask for the chant illustration.

As it is for the Sinister Pathway Triangle Order we are also elitists (aristocrats) for many good reasons, and we do not recognise any others with different claims and purposes.

Structure of the Vampire Temple of Atazoth

The Temple has its administration and gatherings in Gent, Belgium, but has members all over the globe. Each individual Temple (or Coven) accepts only six members, two triangles as it were. Many other groups of six members only can be created the world over. One must be 18 years old for Temple membership. Each member must promise not to advocate or involve oneself with criminal activities or anti-social behaviours such as physical blood drinking, or transfusions outside clinical necessities and emergencies. This means that we firmly reject all the negative aspects of vampiric legends and myths that are anti-life, anti-social, rude, self-defeating, and other criminal actions. As such, the Temple can never be charged responsible for unlawful and punishable actions of its members, misusing our literature.

Your spouse or equivalent partner is not considered an outsider, and joint the six members in a gathering.
